Boost Bottle for RD250, RD350, all years, RDLC350 1980-1982, RZ350 all years, Banshee all years. Increased performance, throttle response, carb balance, stores fuel charge for additional power. All Aluminum body with leak proof nipples. Approximate dimensions 2 in. x 6.25 in. Requires cross over type manifolds (RZ style - sold in our manifolds category product 005-835 for stock 28mm carbs, or 005-836 (by UPP) for 30-34mm carbs, or 1050-0057 (by Moose) for 30-34mm carbs). Note: Not recommended for RD400 as there is not enough clearance to fit the bottle.

These manifolds do not have a cross over tube, see RZ manifolds for cross over tube type. These manifolds are of the highest quality and are produced by Yamaha. Manifolds should be replaced every 3 years to avoid leaks, cracks and dryrotting. These manifolds include the notch for stock RD350/400 VM spigot type mount carbs and require no modification for installation.

Manifolds for 26-28mm Carbs (VM, TM, PWK, PJ) RD350/400 RZ350 PERFORMANCE KIT with Cross-over Tube, complete kit. Includes cross-over tube (hose) and clamps. These are brand new manifolds, fresh rubber and recently manufactured. Replace your old dry rotted and cracked manifolds. Old manifolds and gaskets can leak, causing air to enter the cylinders and damage to your engine. These work with all Yamaha RD 350/400 / RZ350 and Banshee engines. This is the stock configuration for the RZ, but will add performance to your air-cooled RD as well. Simple installation, all parts included. These manifolds can be used with a boost bottle as well. These manifolds can be used on RD350 / RD400 to convert it to the more modern manifold design found on the Banshee / RZ350.The balance tube will help cure flat spots, improve throttle response and mileage. It works like a boost bottle. The design acts like a reed stuffer. Unlike the stock RD/RZ manifolds where your intake velocity drops sharply as it enters the reed cage. These manifolds improve and sustain higher in take velocity. Kit includes 2 cross over type manifolds, tube (hose) and clamps, everything you need for complete installation. You do not need to modify (cut the ears off) for installaiton. Stock manifolds (no tube) available, Stainless or black manifold hex head bolts available
